Chace Building Supply, Inc. is part of a family run business serving the lumber and building material industry for over a century. Our family business can be traced back to 1885 when Peleg Durfee Humphrey and Captain Nathanial B. Church founded P.D. Humphrey Co. in Tiverton, RI. It has served the public's lumber, building materials and hardware needs for over 120 years. Humphrey's, along with Chace, has continued thriving as an environmentally conscious and customer oriented business.
Chace Building Supply, Inc. of Foxboro opened in March of 1986. We have been proud members of the Lumbermen's Merchandising Corporation (LMC is a multi-billion dollar building material purchasing co-op collectively owned by family businesses) since the very beginning.
